Gain new insights with bite-sized excerpts from Simpson degree and certificate programs. These workshops can be taken individually or as a series. Taught by Simpson faculty, each 1-hour course focuses on an essential skill or foundational element of adaptive and resilient leadership.
Session 1 - Trauma and Resilience: Recognition and Self-Care Strategies 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Our world is complex and trauma exists. It affects how people show up and how we lead. Build strength as a leader by being able to recognize trauma, become aware of how trauma affects behavior, and gain self-care strategies.
Session 2 - Data Analysis: Influence Through Data Storytelling 2:00pm - 3:00pm
One of the most challenging aspects of leadership is being able to make the case for a project or idea. Learn how to analyze data and create clear, effective visualizations to help stakeholders feel confident in the direction you propose.
Session 3 - Management: Fundamentals of Effective Project Management 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Guiding a project from start to finish can be daunting. Develop an understanding of how to build and balance a project scope, detail a timeline, and anticipate project costs. Having the basics of project management will set you up for success as a leader.
