The Warren County Farm Bureau Learning Tent will be back for the fourth year at the Warren County Fair, July 26 – 30!
The tent will be located on the south edge of the fairgrounds, along the white fence. The tent will feature lots of fun agricultural education. The main feature is the Little Farm Hands exhibits, where kids of all ages can meander through the ‘barns’ as farm hands. Kids will be able to help with chores including milking a cow, harvesting corn, collecting eggs from a chicken coop, picking apples, shearing sheep, harvesting grapes in the vineyard, and more! We partnered with AgriTech Aviation, outside of Indianola, for an interactive aviation exhibit with a story walk! There will also be a reading corner where you can hang out in the shade and read one of our Ag in the Classroom books!
Lots of free, educational fun, for all ages!
We are looking for volunteers to help out under the Learning Tent. Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older. Email warren.county@ifbf.org or call 515-961-6261 to sign up.
