After losing the World Series in 1922, Babe Ruth and Bob Meusel set off on an eighteen-game Great Plains barnstorming tour that created lifelong memories for people who would have never otherwise had a chance to see a major league baseball player. Stops included Omaha, Kansas City and Denver, but kicked off in Perry, Iowa. Join author Timothy Grover, who has researched and written about this chapter in the life of an American icon.
