National Balloon Classic is one of the oldest and largest hot air balloon events in the nation and recognized as one of the Best of the Midwest and 11 Best Small-Town Festivals in America. This spectacular 9-day, annual hot air balloon competition attracts 100+ pilots who grace the Iowa sky with brilliant colors and unique special shapes. Guests from around the globe cheer on skilled pilots competing for points and prizes and are awestruck as dark skies come alive with a mystical luminosity during Dawn Patrol and Nite Glow, Live music nightly, Fabulous food vendors, Kids land Activities, Sky divers, Parades, Fireworks, and so much more!
