Description:
Ackworth Garden Club Plant sale will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Moats Park, N 1st St, Indianola from 10 AM - 2 PM. This is our annual fundraiser. We use our proceeds to fund various projects in our communities. This includes Youth Container Gardening Class and Contest, Warren County Fair Junior Flower & Horticulture ribbons and premiums, and Log Cabin Days Big Pumpkin/Giant Sunflower Contest. We maintain gardens at the Warren County Fairgrounds, Indianola Dog Park, Norwalk Brownie Park & Magnolia Arboretum, Carlisle Historical Randleman House, and Ackworth Church Grounds. We also sponsor a $500 scholarship for a local Warren County horticultural student attending Iowa State University. We appreciate your support!
