About Us
The Warren County Conservation Board currently manages more than 2,200 acres of land for the benefit of county residents and visitors. A wide variety of activities are offered on the public lands the WCCB conserves for this generation and generations to come.
Locations include Annett Nature Center & Park, Bank Swallow Bend, Blue Flag Marsh, Grant Nature Land, Hickory Hills Park, Lundy Acres, Otter Creek Park, Rolling Thunder Prairie, Woodland Mounds Preserve, and Zo-El Annett Woods.
WCCB Naturalists provide quality outdoor recreation, conservation and environmental education programs to make the citizens of Warren County aware of the natural world around us. We offer a variety of public programs, as well as summer camps, in-school programs, field trips opportunities and programs for civic groups.
Friends of Warren County Conservation is a nonprofit, volunteer group. We provide fundraising and volunteerism to support the educational programs and outreach of the Warren County Conservation Board. This enables thousands of Warren County residents and visitors to enjoy conservation education and quality outdoor experiences year round. We hold monthly public meetings. Anyone interested can make a donation to become a member of FWCC.
