The Mission Of Our Church
We are broken people engaged in
God’s restoration of a broken world.
At Indianola Community Church, we aren’t focused on whether you are perfect. Rather, our desire is for you to have a healthy relationship with your Creator and for you to grow closer to him every day.
All of our ministries are focused on reaching the world God loves the life-changing good news about his son, Jesus Christ, and what he has accomplished for us. More specifically, we aim to empower and engage people in five distinct ways:
- CHURCH SERVICE: Sunday morning gathering
- INTRO: membership classes
- GROUP: connecting in relationships
- SERVE: sacrificing time & resources for others
- MISSIONAL LIVING: living out the gospel
Each of these strategies is visually represented with a corresponding icon, which you will see in several locations at the church. We understand that God reaches people in different ways and that the journey of life doesn’t look the same for everyone. So we strive to speak the truth with grace and endeavor to be God’s compassionate hands to people who need his peace. Denominationally, we are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America, whose core beliefs can be found here.
At Indianola Community Church, we believe that broken people can be made whole again! When you admit to God that you are broken and honestly place your trust in his son, Jesus, to be the authority for your life, your relationship with the Creator is restored.
