Guests will enjoy live music by Highway Home while taking in the beautiful prairie scenery surrounding the Middleswart Lodge. Proceeds from this event will benefit the development of a Nature Playscape at the Annett Nature Center, and Environmental Education programs.
Seating is configured to mostly 6 person tables, with very limited 8 person seating available. If you are not registering an entire table you may be sat with yet-to-be-made acquaintances! Please indicate if you are planning to sit with other registrants and food allergies at time of registration.

We are opening up our beautiful flower fields for one last time this season. The flower farm gates will be open from 9-11am so you can come and go as you please. Pint jars and buckets will be available for purchase for you to wander the cut flower field and dahlia field and cut your own flowers to take home. We end the evening with our must-see Lighted Parade. This community event will fill your heart with joy.
Indianola Downtown warmly invites you Home for the Holidays! You're sure to find your holiday cheer as we transform our Square with the dazzling sights, sounds (& smells) of the season. Ask Santa if you are on his Nice List, take a horse drawn wagon ride, join in on a carol or find a treat just like your grandma used to make. On November 22nd, during the Home for the Holidays event on Indianola Downtown Main Street, the Indianola Chamber is hosting the annual Holiday Lighted Parade. We want to make this the best lighted parade ever! We are asking YOU to sign your organization up to be a part of the parade! Here are the details for the event:
Parade Time: The parade will kick off at 7:30 p.m., and participants should start lining up at 7:00 p.m. at Tru Value to ensure a smooth start.
Parade Route: The route begins south on Howard, turns west on Salem, heads north on Buxton, and will conclude at the Administration Building.
Float Requirements: Participants provide a parade entry, and we encourage floats, vehicles, and even decorated people! The only requirement is that your entry is creatively decorated with lights to illuminate the parade route. Please no throwing hard candy from elevated areas.
Candy and Treat: Feel free to bring your own candy or treats to distribute to the excited onlookers. It’s a great way to spread holiday joy!
Competition: To add an extra element of fun, there will be prizes for various categories. Let your creativity shine, and you might be a winner!
Who Can Participate: Parade participants don’t have to be businesses – everyone is welcome to join in the holiday spirit!
