Overview
Goals and expectations are critical to success, but sometimes, we set bad goals with good intentions. We’ve got tips and tricks to help you set (and achieve!) better, SMART-er goals with the end in mind. Now that you have your goals, you need to follow-up and provide feedback to your team. Let’s explore ways to maximize your own emotional intelligence and self-management in the moment while also being sensitive to the other person in the conversation so you can manage your conversations well, whether that’s providing praise or sharing corrective feedback. Don’t forget about appreciation! Expressing appreciation at work is critical to building healthy employee morale, but sometimes it’s easy to forget, and even easier said than done. We’ll explore the 5 Languages of Appreciation and where they fit, along with tactical tips to help you get your appreciation across!

HOW IT WORKS
100 men commit to gathering once per quarter to make a significant
impact on the non-profits that serve the Indianola Community.
Each man commits to $400 each year for charitable purposes. This can be paid for the full year in advance, or in $100
donations at each quarterly meeting.
At the beginning of each meeting every member has the
option to nominate a local 501(c)(3) organization which
provides programs and services for the Indianola community.Three Nominations are drawn at random each meeting. The100 Men Who Care members who nominated the selected
non-profits will be asked to advocate for their organization bygiving a 5 minute presentation about what they do and whythey need/deserve the donation.
All paid members vote for the nonprofit they believe most
worthy of that quarterly grant.
The chosen nonprofit receives our $100
donations as a “no-strings-attached” grant,
with the goal being $10,000*
*Amount will be based upon the number of paying members at that time, and may not be the full
$10,000 while we grown to be a 100 member entity. 100 Men Who Care Indianola partners with a local non-profit fiscal agent who disperses the collected funds to the selected non-profit agencies more info...

We don’t have time to do things twice. We also don’t have time to repeat ourselves. So how do we get our messages through the first time?
When we’re concerned about the level of risk on a project, how do we get that through to the people who need to be prepared for delays or cost overruns?
When we need additional resources to resolve the issue at hand, how do we get the attention of those who have moved on to other priorities in the business
When the decisions that need to be made have lasting impacts on the health of the organization as a whole, not just the stakeholder who screams the loudest, how do we make sure all of the right people are involved and paying attention?
When we need input from everyone, not just the highest paid person’s opinion, how do we engage all and only the right people?
Influencing up has never been more challenging than it is right now, because there are so many competing demands for our attention!
Right now, you’ve already moved on to something else in your head. But come back…Because there’s real pain here, and a need for real solutions. And we can talk through some real solutions. Influencing up is an art and a bit of science. There are tools and techniques that help us. There are some charts and boxes and some proven processes we can follow.
This quick-hit, action packed webinar will give you a set of
Critical success factors for influencing up in any organization, of any size or scale or industry.
Three techniques to help you focus your own skill growth where you need it most.
Practical, easy to apply tips to help you improve your stakeholder interactions to influence up, starting now.
