Fall Fish and Chicken Dinners

The Indianola Knights of Columbus will be hosting 4 Fall Fish and Chicken Dinners starting on Friday, October 22 and ending on Friday, November 12. Serving hours are 5:30 to 7:00 PM each evening. We offer a delicious, relaxing sit-down meal or a speedy take-out service. Menu: Deep Fried or Baked Alaskan Pollock, Chicken Tenders, Baked Potato, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Coffee and Lemonade. Our fish and chicken tenders are hand breaded each evening in a batter that does not contain any wheat flour.
Prices: Adults/Carry-outs $10, Children (ages 6 to 12) $5, Children 5 and under are free. A local boy scout troop will host a dessert table.

Who’s ready for a gourd time?
They're combining the picturesque vistas of Copper Moon Ranch with a storybook Pumpkin Patch. Bring the kids for Cinderella-worthy pumpkins, and you may even catch a sighting of The Grump! (He’s going through a rough patch.)

The Grumpy Pumpkin Patch will be open every weekend from Sept. 11 to Oct. 31, with pony rides and a Dunk the Grump Tank!

They will also have food trucks, a coffee cart, craft beer, kids' beverages, and more!

Time to carve out some fun — Autumn just got an attitude.

Summerset Sunday Tunes


Our great local bands play Sundays from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm and weather permitting the bands will perform outside. In winter months or on rainy days we bring the music inside to perform in our banquet hall. Sunday Tunes Concerts take place every Sunday May-October, and once a month November-April.

Cover Charge: $5 per person. Kids get in FREE!

Online ticket purchasing will be available.

Plant and Pollinator Palooza


Head on out to the Annett Nature Center on October 25th for their Plant and Pollinator Palooza Halloween Hike. This non-scary hike is educational and fun for the whole family. You will be guided along the trail to meet the following characters: butterfly, bat, prairie blazing star, hummingbird, and cup plant. After the hike you can make a craft and enjoy some treats.

It's simple! They will provide the fun (toys & equipment), you provide the child and supervision! This drop in program is a perfect opportunity for the little ones to burn off some energy, while parents have an opportunity to connect.

For ages 1 - PreK, with adult supervision on Wednesdays. 

Note: The playground is closed on days when Indianola schools are cancelled due to inclement weather. The playground will also be closed on December 22 & 29.
