This day-long revenue acceleration workshop will be divided into three parts: Build, Grow and Optimize. Whether you are just starting out, ready to scale a functioning process, or managing a team of sales reps - there is something in this workshop for you.

Part 1: Build

  • Creating a Sales Funnel
  • Top-of-Funnel (Lead Generation) Strategies
  • Choosing a Tech Stack
  • Training and Perfecting the SDR Workflow
  • Getting to Closed (Solution Selling)

Part 2: Grow

  • How to Structure Compensation and KPIs for Sales Teams
  • Sales Teams and Product Teams (Working in Harmony)

Part 3: Optimize

  • Developing Standardized Reports and Dashboards
  • Revenue Tracking, Lead Attribution and Channel Sales
  • Account Expansion (Upselling Tactics)
  • The Mental Health and Productivity Connection

We know that building a sales engine can feel a bit like reaching for the golden ring – only the lucky ones get it right. We’re here to pull back that curtain and demonstrate the building blocks necessary to create a sustainable and scalable flywheel of revenue.

Our customer-centric approach will take you through the motions of building an effective sales funnel and team, starting with an internal analysis of your current process (the “funnel audit”) and ending with creative strategies to keep your key players motivated and happy.

There are many ways to establish predictable growth in sales, so please come prepared to take notes, contribute your ideas and get into your customers’ heads.

Please note that this seminar is designed for B2B SaaS startups and doesn’t cover tactics that work specifically in a B2C setting. A light continental breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be provided. Free parking vouchers will be available for the Partnership Building parking ramp. Capacity is limited to 40 people.

The Vivo Chamber Players will present a free recital on Sunday, November 13th, at 3:00 pm in Lekberg Hall in the Amy Robertson Music Center.  Vivo, which is composed of Simpson's instrumental music faculty and additional professional string players, will share an hour of music spanning the time period from Vivaldi to John Williams.

Audience members will be familiar with the tender "Theme from Schindler's List" by John Williams, the Hollywood composer best known for his Star Wars and Harry Potter film scores.  They may be less familiar with the beautiful "Prayer for Peace", also by Williams, from the movie Munich.

In addition to the traditional string ensemble, the recital will feature some unusual instrument combinations.  A bass and cello ensemble will perform a tango, and a string and oboe ensemble will present a movement from a Vivaldi quartet.

The performance is open to audience members of all ages.  Young students who have an interest in string and woodwind instruments will have a chance to observe professional players performing in an up-close setting.  For more information, please call the Simpson Music Office at 515-961-1637.
