Overview: 
We get it, you’re busy.  Up to your eyeballs in the day-to-day.  No time to look ahead to what’s next.  Unfortunately, the tyranny of the urgent is robbing you of the joy of today and the success of tomorrow.  Trade two hours of your Tuesday with us for a whole lot of peace.  We’ll walk through simple, easy-to-use, proven tools that work.  Facilitated by a coach and business owner who has been there, done that, and has the t-shirt to prove it, this session will fly by.  We’ll start with a quick picture of how things are today.  Then we’ll create a model of what you want next year to look like.  And we’ll create a list of the things that need to happen to get from here to there. People, process, tools, etc.  By the time we’re done, you’ll have a clearer picture of where you’re going and some concrete steps to get there and a set of resources to help you stay on track, no matter how busy your day-to-day gets.

About your Facilitator:
Sinikka Waugh, president and founder of Your Clear Next Step, spends her days helping people have better workdays. Trainer, coach, business leader, and difference maker, Sinikka is known for consistently helping people improve their emotional intelligence and find innovative ways to solve problems and get things done at work.  Putting her 20+ year background in languages, literature, and project management to good use, Sinikka has provided compassionate leadership in transformation initiatives and helped over 50,000 people have better workdays since 2008. Her clients value how her results-driven professionalism blends seamlessly with her down-to-earth, “try this now” approach and her relentless passion for helping others achieve even better. Her class participants describe her as energetic and engaging (even over Zoom!). Sinikka holds a BA from Central College, an MA from the University of Iowa, and is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Sinikka and her husband Spencer live in Indianola, Iowa where their two daughters attend Simpson College.

Cortum Farm grows a variety of cool and unique pumpkins. Grab one-or-two, or a basket full of minis - they have them all! Come early to get the best selection.

We will be serving up our favorite iced chai lattes to sip while you pick your pumpkins and peruse the shop.

The walk is based on shinrin-yoku or forest therapy which has been shown to reduce stress, increase creativity, lower blood pressure, provide relaxation, offer a connection with nature and many other health benefits.

Small sit mats will be available for use, or you may want to bring a small camping chair and bottle of water.

This program is geared towards those 16 and older.
