Reserve your free tickets(s) now to watch the Vivo Chamber Players accompany the silent film, Sherlock, Jr., starring Buster Keaton, with a musical score arranged/composed by Dr. John Benoit, Professor of Music at Simpson College. Enjoy the antics on the screen and on the stage as the orchestra brings to life the struggles, triumphs, and laughs depicted in the film. Cheer the hero, boo the bad guy, and "ooh-aah" the special effects that were cutting-edge for the time period. Enjoy poignant melodies, galloping rhythms, and comic sound effects that will make you think that the term "silent film" is a misnomer.

Performances will occur in Lekberg Hall in the Amy Robertson Music Building, Simpson College, on Friday, March 3rd, at 7:00 pm, and again at 8:30 pm. If you are a night owl, there are many tickets left for the 8:30 pm show. There are still tickets available for the 7:00 pm show as well. Reservations are required, admission is free, and children are welcome.

Summerset Winery will be hosting a Spring Craft Show this year at Summerset Winery! Free admission for all ages!

The curriculum for this class is designed to provide maintenance and mechanic personnel with the essential knowledge of maintaining and repairing CemenTech equipment. The class is designed as a “total value” class for every attendee. CemenTech’s core focus on customer education and maintenance procedures is clearly present in the structure of this critical class. The entire curriculum is focused on (C Series) equipment.
The class focuses on preventative maintenance and critical repair to help minimize unit downtime.
The class will have a variety of hands-on and classroom activities with a final exam to wrap up the class.
This class registration includes the following:
- 3 nights lodging
- 2 nightly dinners
- 2 lunches
- Shuttle transportation (from hotel to factory) (Transportation to and from the airport is NOT provided)
- Factory tour

It's simple! They will provide the fun (toys & equipment), and you provide the child and supervision! This drop-in program is a perfect opportunity for the little ones to burn off some energy, while parents have an opportunity to connect.
For ages 1 - PreK, with adult supervision on Wednesdays.
Note: The playground is closed on days when Indianola schools are canceled due to inclement weather. The playground will also be closed on December 22 & 29.

Join Jenna Huston, a solo artist from Martensdale, Iowa, and Simpson College alum for an eclectic mix of music. Jenna puts her own spin on everything from classic to modern rock, pop, alternative, and Indie – from Led Zeppelin to Britney Spears – on vocals, keys, and guitar. Indianola Parks & Recreation will be hosting the free event at the Indianola Activity Center, 2204 W. 2nd Avenue (Hwy 92). The concert is sponsored by United HealthCare. Dessert is provided by Indianola Hy-Vee

The Krafty Ladies are bringing painting to us on March 18th from 12PM-2PM! This class is fun for the people that love to paint, but aren't the most crafty! You will receive one pre-made design and will paint it all yourself! This class is 2 hours long in length and will come with 1 free glass of wine!
