The ValorFit Games will be held on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Blake Fieldhouse here in Indianola. This event is being held to raise funds for the ValorFit organization in order to continue placing veterans in CrossFit gyms throughout the nation.

ValorFit is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by Troy Peterson. Troy is a veteran that served from 2001-2006. He received a Purple Heart Medal while in Iraq and received Honorable Discharge in 2006. From 2008-2015, mTBI and PTSD took over his life and led to him turning to a life of drugs and alcohol. On July 30th, 2015, Troy attempted suicide. When he woke up, he walked into a CrossFit gym. His life changed and the truth behind ValorFit was created.

The ValorFit organization works with veterans that are suffering to find themselves post combat, and helps place them in a CrossFit gym. Veterans are able to find their confidence and self-worth again through their local gym community by pursuing a healthier lifestyle.

We'd love to see as many of you there as possible! We are looking for vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to help us with this event as well. Please reach out if you have any questions. Otherwise, come as a spectator and see what it's all about!

Thank you for your support! With your help, we are able to help even more veterans nationwide. We hope to see you at our event!

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine take everyone's favorite fairytale characters and brings them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece that has become a modern classic.
Join us for this fantastical production as these characters go on a quest to pursue their wishes. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
